Then maybe you would like to consider joining The Broomfield Club Bowls section. The old idea that it is an old mans game is no longer true; youngsters are taking up the game and enjoying the buzz from competing in league and cup games. With the added thrill of County competitions, which leads the two finalists on to represent Middlesex County in the National Finals at the home of bowls at Worthing. Bowls is a good form of exercise, a game can last upto 3 hours, during which time the players are walking up and down the green, bending down picking up and delivering the bowls all adding to a healthy fit body, together with playing in the warm Sunshine.

Bowls is a game with no age limits, so can be played by young and old alike, and can be enjoyed by either sex, give it a try you never know you could be a future champion.
