Broomfield are a long established club who play in the Southern Amateur League and are affiliated to the A.F.A. Our home pitches are located at Hazelwood and Clowes recreation grounds in Palmers Green, North London, with our own clubhouse (with bar - most important for the post-match de-brief) very nearby.
We run six league sides and a Veterans team who play occasional friendly and cup matches. Currently the first team play in top divsion of the SAL Senior divsion, but if you are aiming for a slightly less vigorous run out, then one of the other teams will offer a standard of football to suit. Games for the league sides are each Saturday afternoon from September to April.
Broomfield also has bowls and tennis affiliated sections, with whom we share the clubhouse facilities.
Yearly subscription is only £20 pounds!, payable at the start of each season or upon joining. We consider a pay-as-you-play policy to be the fairest way to distribute the costs of running the club. Match fees are currently £10 per game with concessions for students and those out of work.
